LAWRENCE, KS — Nikki Woolfolk, a beloved resident whose extraordinary strength inspired all who knew her, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with glioblastoma (GBM) brain cancer.
Diagnosed in October 2016, Nikki was initially given a prognosis of two years. She defied that timeline with breathtaking determination, becoming one of the longest-surviving patients in the history of her illness. She never accepted the predicted outcome, fighting fiercely to give every moment to her family and friends.

Nikki is remembered as a beautiful soul and an amazing force of nature. Her resilience and vibrant spirit created a legacy of love and tenacity that will be profoundly missed by her community.
Her family expresses immense gratitude to friends, family, and neighbors for their unwavering support throughout her journey.
A service will be held on Monday, January 19th, at 2 p.m. at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, located at 120 W 13th St., followed by a Celebration of Life party to honor her remarkable spirit.
