A Smyrna family is living a nightmare, desperately pleading for the public’s help to bring their 11-year-old daughter, Lyri Ryan, home.

Lyri was last seen leaving Campbell Middle School on Thursday after missing her school bus. Surveillance footage captured her walking near the intersection of Paces Ferry Road and Atlanta Road around 5:45 p.m. She never arrived home.

“I’m terrified,” her mother said, voice thick with worry. “I’m worried she’s hungry, she’s cold, she’s scared.” The family is urging anyone who may have seen Lyri to come forward immediately.

Lyri is described as 5 feet tall, 120 pounds, with twists in her hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a tan/brown Bebe coat, gray sweatpants, a white shirt with an anime bear that says “NOT TODAY,” white Nike shoes with a pink swoosh, and carrying a purple backpack.

Smyrna Police emphasize the family’s extreme concern, noting the dangerous cold. While there was a delay in reporting, they do not believe it was nefarious.

If you have *any* information, were in the Paces Ferry or Atlanta Road area Thursday evening, or think you may have seen her, **please call 911 or Smyrna Police at 678-631-5416.** Share her description widely. A single detail could be the key to reuniting this child with her terrified family.
