Coroner Identifies Man Killed in Arden-Arcade Shooting; Police Asking for Public’s Help
The Sacramento County Coroner has identified 20-year-old Kaden Solano of Folsom as the victim of a deadly shooting in Arden-Arcade. The incident occurred on Saturday, January 10, near Larkspur Lane and Fulton Avenue.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, Solano was shot once in the chest around 9:15 p.m. He was quickly transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries. As of Wednesday morning, no arrests have been made, and authorities are actively searching for the suspect involved.
Investigators remain at the scene gathering evidence and trying to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting. It is still unclear whether the shooting was targeted or random, and deputies have not released details about any potential motives.
The sheriff’s office is urging the public to come forward if they have any information. Residents are encouraged to share surveillance footage from doorbell cameras or other security devices that might have captured relevant activity. Lt. Amar Gandhi emphasized the importance of community help, stating, “If you saw something or heard anything, please contact us. You can remain completely anonymous.”
The investigation continues as authorities seek justice for Kaden Solano and aim to prevent further violence in the community.
