Damon Rice,Man, Infant Identified in Deadly Orangeburg Shooting
The Orangeburg County Coroner has identified the two victims killed in a shooting that turned a city street into a crime scene. The deadly incident occurred Tuesday in the 400 block of Gibson Street.
Coroner Sean Fogle identified the victims as 25-year-old Damon Rice of Gue Road and 6-month-old Marco Frazier Jr. of Laquinta Drive. Rice was pronounced dead at the scene near Summers Avenue and Amelia Street. The infant, critically wounded during the violence, was transported to MUSC Health Orangeburg where he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities describe the tragedy as stemming from an alleged exchange of gunfire. Autopsies for both victims are scheduled for Friday.
