20yrs, Connor Calleja Missing From Lincolnshire Found Dead
The search for missing university student Connor Calleja has ended in tragedy, with police confirming the recovery of a body from a Lincoln waterway. The 20-year-old had been missing since the early hours of Sunday, January 11th.
Connor was last seen on CCTV leaving the Home nightclub in Lincoln city centre after being denied entry, apparently attempting to walk back to his accommodation. His stepfather, John Lewis, had made a desperate public appeal, saying the family was “absolutely sick with worry.”

Lincolnshire Police, who led the search under log 198, confirmed a body was found in the Fossdike near Brayford Pool on Tuesday, January 13th. While formal identification is pending, Connor’s family has been notified. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
This heartbreaking conclusion has sent waves of grief through his loved ones and the wider university community. The loss of a young life with such potential is profoundly devastating. Our deepest condolences are with Connor’s family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time.
