Ailyn Calderon Obituary:Stonewyck Elementary School Beloved 2nd-Grade Student Passed Away
The Stonewyck Elementary School community is heartbroken by the sudden passing of our beloved 2nd-grade student, Ailyn Calderon. Ailyn, a bright and joyful 7-year-old, was previously full of energy until a devastating medical crisis unfolded. She developed severe complications, including encephalitis and a rare neurologic disorder, which progressed rapidly.
Her infectious smile, kindness, and cheerful demeanor brought light to her classmates, teachers, and our entire Gryphon family. Her loss is felt profoundly.
As we come together to support Ailyn’s grieving family, we ask you to keep them in your thoughts and prayers. To assist with unforeseen expenses, the *Ailyn Calderon Fund* has been established through the Foundation for OCPS. Donations allow the family to focus on honoring their precious daughter’s memory.
