Brandon Holiday Philadelphia,PA Death:Sporting And Disability Advocacy Community Mourns Athlete

The sporting and disability advocacy communities are mourning the loss of Brandon C. Holiday of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 13th, due to a suspected cardiac issue. He was 38.

Holiday was a renowned Paracanoe Sprint Kayaker, representing the United States with distinction. His athletic journey began in Maplewood, New Jersey, where he was active in tennis, baseball, and martial arts from a young age, all while managing Systemic Lupus.

His dedication extended far beyond the water. Holiday served as the Executive Director of the Athletes with Disabilities Network NorthEast Chapter and was an Investigator with RMS&Associates. He was also the proud owner-operator and handler at Red White & Blue K9 Services, showcasing his diverse passions.

A lifelong learner, he studied at Salisbury University, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Duke University, and Grand Canyon University.

In a heartfelt statement, his brother Rob remembered him as a man who “lived a full and amazing life,” a “shining star” with incredible accomplishments and genuine relationships. A service to celebrate Brandon’s life is tentatively set for Tuesday, January 20th, in the Moorestown, New Jersey area. He will be deeply missed by a vast and diverse community of friends, family, and colleagues.
